I've been lazy. well, just when it comes to bloggin'. Sunday we went to the Cattle Barns in Fort Worth ( it's a fabulous indoor flea market). We scored! We bought a huge collection if retro matchbooks....so very cool. The only draw back is the way they smell, it's a combination of old, old lady perfume and just old stinkyness. I got a great paint set tin with the original paints for $5.00 (what a deal!). And as if I really needed one more thing, I got a kitchy milk glass mug with see, hear, speak, do no evil monkeys on it. I love it! In case you didn't know I have a great collection of ....no evil monkeys. i started collecting them when I was a kid, along with all of my other quirky doo dads. i will be posting some pics of the matchbook covers on my flickr page. Monday and Tuesday I painted and painted and painted........................I am painting white walls a deep blue. Therefore it is taking coat, after coat of paint. Plus I want to have a lot of depth to the color so I am painting on several layers of tinted glaze. So far it is looking quite amazing! Then I am going to decorate with my collection of vintage white ceramics. I'll be taking some pics!
